04/08/2010 Star Trek Online console moved to the back burners '\\'

Cryptic Studios claims that its tepidly received sci-fi MMORPG will remain on the PC only because of difficulties with "business side of things."

Cryptic Studios announced that massively multiplayer online role-playing game Champions Online and Star Trek Online for a few months of each other for the PC and consoles in 2008. PC editions of those games that landed on a soft critical methods within a few months apart in 2009 and 2010, and now the death of its console editions have also come in lockstep.

Light on these burners ago, in fact, not the space fireball.

In Atari-owned studio, confirming that "There are no current plans for the console version of the Champions League" In late March, the executive producer Craig Zinkievich said that the same fate befell the Star Trek Online. "It 'pretty much in the same boat as the Champions console version right now," Zinkievich said the UK gaming site VideoGamer .

Star Trek Online operates independently from any of the events set out in a movie or TV series. Players act as the captain of the spacecraft, operating under the banner or the United Federation of Planets (also known as 'Federation ") or the Klingons, who are locked in an intergalactic struggle.
